Jambalaya Recipe

Here is a base jambalaya recipe from Emeril's site. Paul Prudhome also has an excellent recipe. You can add chicken instead of shrimp and additional sausage. I also added a can of tomato sauce and diced tomatoes to mine. I also put in 1 1/2 cups of rice and used a crockpot, so that I could leave it. If you do choose to use shrimp, make certain that you put them in at the end of the cooking process. You can also put in Gumbo File at the end of the process if desired.
